Idaho Student Conservation Video Contest

Veolia wants to spark and reward your creativity by helping us educate Boise, Eagle and the greater Treasure Valley on conserving water!

Students in grades 9-12 attending Boise and Eagle schools within our service territory, as well as Bishop Kelly High School, are encouraged to produce a video promoting water conservation. We encourage students to create public service announcements for our summer water conservation campaign, showing us conservation through their eyes.

High-definition video is preferred, but not required. Production may be done on any platform, but must be submitted in either Quicktime (.mov), MP4, MPEG or AVI formats. Videos should be submitted by uploading entries (video and printed entry forms/releases) as outlined in the instructions below. The winning entries air on local television and our social media platforms during the summer season when consumer demand for water rises significantly.

The winning entry is awarded a $1,500 donation to their classroom from Veolia; second place is awarded $750 and third place is awarded $500. Veolia sponsors water conservation programs each year as part of its multi-platform communications to raise awareness among consumers for conserving water resources and using water wisely.

Entries are due by Thursday April 18, 2024 and teachers will be notified about winning entries by May 1.

Download our instructions here and good luck!
