My Local Veolia projects

The Past & Future of Pennsylvania's Water

Veolia operations in Pennsylvania represent a consolidation of water companies that formerly dotted the landscape of southcentral, central and northeastern Pennsylvania. The more than 59,000 customers now served by the company represent more than double the number of customers who were served at the time their former water suppliers were acquired.

Veolia’s four operations areas were developed as a result of acquisitions and mergers in areas that are geographically diverse from one another, but close to reliable sources of supply. Following the acquisitions of many small and medium-sized water systems, Veolia consolidated them into the entity represented today.

Throughout the history of Veolia’s ownership and operations of consolidated water systems, the quality of drinking water has been constantly monitored before, during and after the treatment process. All water is treated according to standards established by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

We are proud to have played an important role in the growth and development of our area for over a half century. And we look forward to providing you with the highest quality water and service for another 50 years.
