What should I do if my water becomes discolored?

If you experience discoloration, you should follow these steps:

Run the cold water faucet closest to the water meter (usually basement or ground level). For multi-family unit, run the bath tub water or water from any other high pressure point in your home. If the water does not clear after 3-5 minutes, wait an hour and repeat the process. After the water clears, run other faucets throughout the house until clear.

If water still does not clear after repeating these steps, please contact customer service.
